The mission of the Center for Equitable Access and Treatment of Trauma or CEATT, a non-profit 501(c)(3), is to ensure the delivery of and/or access to quality mental health care and treatment; primarily for individuals and families who are impacted by trauma in underserved communities.

Delphine Gervais is the founder and CEO of the Florida-based group private practice, Breakthrough Care and Resource Center, Inc. where she and her staff of clinicians provide psychotherapy to individuals, couples and families. She is a licensed clinical social worker in the states of Florida, Georgia, and Colorado, Washington State, Cali

 

Delphine Gervais is the founder and CEO of the Florida-based group private practice, Breakthrough Care and Resource Center, Inc. where she and her staff of clinicians provide psychotherapy to individuals, couples and families. She is a licensed clinical social worker in the states of Florida, Georgia, and Colorado, Washington State, California, and New Jersey, with qualified supervisor designation in the state of Florida. As an EMDR-trained therapist, Delphine approaches her work with individuals and organizations with a trauma-focused, trauma-informed lens perspective.  Delphine also serves as a thought partner, consultant, and presenter providing in person and virtual webinars on a myriad of topics including emotional intelligence, imposter syndrome, and mindfulness in the workplace.


A native of St. Maarten, Delphine is unabashed in sharing that her Haitian immigrant upbringing in Little Haiti, Florida shaped her worldview of social work's potential for further impact on local, national and global communities.

Dr. Gabrielle is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (FL and CO) and National Board Counselor with a specialization in Infant and Maternal Mental Health. As an Afro-Caribbean and Miami native, she has always had a love for giving back and supporting those within her community. She has had the pleasure of working as a family therapist for 

 

Dr. Gabrielle is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (FL and CO) and National Board Counselor with a specialization in Infant and Maternal Mental Health. As an Afro-Caribbean and Miami native, she has always had a love for giving back and supporting those within her community. She has had the pleasure of working as a family therapist for close to 10 years in South Florida. Gabby Cares of South Florida was created as a safe space for multicultural therapeutic work to transpire and change the narrative as it relates to Mental Health within minority communities. 


Gabrielle has earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Family Youth and Community Sciences from the University of Florida, a Master’s Degree in Human Services with a specialty in Juvenile Justice System from Nova Southeastern University. She holds a Ph.D. in Marriage and Family Therapy (ABD). Her research explores parenting trends and assimilation for first generation Caribbean American parents.  


Gabrielle has presented at the International Family Therapy Association’s 25th World Congress on the Hook-Up Culture within adolescent culture as well as “Ways to break the cycle of Domestic Violence." Most recently she presented at the Solution Focused Briefs Therapy conference 2022 on Healing Heartbreak.

Belinda Gordon-Battle is a licensed clinical therapist and life consultant based in Miami while providing therapeutic services across the globe. Through her mental health counseling practice, she provides a safe space for individuals (children and adults), families, couples and organizations to receive counseling and support services that address mental health and mental wellness. 


BGB, as her clients and colleagues call her, is an advocate of “removing the stigma” and normalizing the therapeutic process. BGB has developed a special niche that supports the unique needs of educators and all that work in the school house. She incorporates cultural relevance and non-traditional interventions and strategies to strengthen her clients’ steps towards goals of behavioral, emotional, social and mental wellness. Dr. Magda Demerritt, LCSW-QS was born in Miami, Fl. Dr. Demerritt attended Florida International University where she earned her master's degree in social work. In May of 2021 she earned her Doctorate degree in Social Work from Walden University. Dr. Demerritt established her mental health practice in 2013 and currently provides care and treatment to individuals ages 12 and up who present with an array of mental health challenges including trauma, anxiety and depression. 


Dr. Demerritt is certified in child welfare, trauma focused cognitive behavioral therapy, and trained in crisis management interventions as well as trauma incident reduction. Dr. Demerritt is a leader in her field serving as an adjunct instructor at local universities, providing supervision, and consultation to emerging clinicians in the field of mental health. 


Dr. Demerritt volunteers her time by serving on several panels and participating in speaking engagements where she provides community education regarding mental health to remove stigma and normalize therapeutic interventions for minorities in the community.
